WHO WE ARE

Operational experience meets global sourcing.

Beaver Imports draws on practical knowledge of construction, purchasing and supplier relationships. That background shapes our questions: how a product will be used, quality expectations, costs, lead times and commercial risk.

Our mission

Help Canadian and American businesses access manufacturers abroad while keeping technical, commercial and logistics requirements in focus.

Two North American anchors

Headquarters in Montréal, Québec, and a business presence in Florida. Our sourcing can extend across China, Asia and other markets depending on the project.

A global sourcing approach across five regions

Our manufacturer search and international business development focus on five regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe and Asia. These are our areas of sourcing interest and commercial reach, not a claim of five physical offices. Each sourcing project is assessed against supplier capabilities, the import destination's requirements, commercial terms and freight constraints.

Our mission: transform business purchasing

Our work often starts before the first quotation. We review historical spending, invoices, frequently purchased items, annual volumes and future purchase orders. The result is a detailed report identifying where products could be purchased directly from a manufacturer rather than through successive distributors. Potential savings are weighed against landed costs, equivalent product quality, compliance requirements and delivery schedules.

What sourcing agents and import partners actually do

A sourcing agent identifies potential factories, develops specifications, requests comparable bids and supports supplier verification. An import partner can also coordinate commercial documents, freight forwarders and customs preparation with the appropriate specialists. Beaver Imports tailors the scope to the client's needs instead of imposing a single service package.

An outsourced procurement department

Companies with limited internal purchasing capacity can use our outsourced procurement service as an extension of their team. Activities may include cost analysis, factory bidding, product comparisons, sampling, negotiation and purchase coordination. Established procurement teams can also engage us for specific categories, suppliers or technical sourcing projects.

Industrial goods and consumer products

Our sourcing inquiries include construction materials, industrial pipes and fittings, electrical products, professional equipment, Wellness products, children's goods, cosmetics, pet products and private-label programs. Import regulations, duties, testing and required documents depend on the specific product and destination market; no one certificate or tariff applies to every order.

A transparent method for purchasing decisions

We do not promise the same savings percentage to every client. We compare equivalent items and their complete commercial picture: ex-factory costs, minimum order quantities, packaging, inspections, testing, transportation, duties and import fees. This helps clients decide when factory-direct sourcing is economically and operationally appropriate.
